Humans have collected things for millennia. And with the advent of mass manufacturing and the Internet, it’s no wonder that people can now collect just about anything they wish.

Those who pursue authenticity will seek out genuine vintage car parts to rebuild an older car to its original specifications.

Whether it’s guitars, mandolins, band instruments, or something else, musical instrument collecting can be a lot of fun. 

If you’re a musician, you may find yourself inclined to collect the instrument you play. And if you like a challenge, you may enjoy seeking out rare or discontinued models or those played by famous musicians or bands.

Like stamp collectors, coin collectors often enjoy finding coins from all over the world or purchasing rare, valuable coins. But this hobby doesn’t have to be expensive to be fun: some people enjoy collecting the state quarters of all 50 states, collecting wheat pennies or buffalo nickels, etc. 

Coin collecting also works as an investment. Since many coins go up in value, you can make money if you ever decide to sell part or all of your collection collectible items.
